Emily joined Peter and Leanne’s team in 2017, and since commencing work as a lawyer has worked almost exclusively in her current practice areas. Whilst assisting Peter and Leanne on Liquor matters, Emily’s true passion is court and advocacy work dealing with Crime, Restraining Orders and Industrial / Employment Law areas. With a background in an Industrial Union prior to admission, Emily works hard to ensure that her clients feel heard, understood and confident in their choice of representation. She aims to provide high quality service grounded in practicality and outcome driven action and advice.
Emily believes that developing a rapport and taking the time to understand each client’s different situation, desired outcome, and driving motivation is the key to ensuring that her clients are satisfied with their results and feel they have received value for money.
Emily has acted as counsel in all major crime and civil jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court. Emily is confident as an advocate, or as instructing counsel on complex matters, and has worked hard to develop close relationships with top barristers and stakeholders, to ensure that her clients can always be confident that any and all legal options will be considered and discussed with them.
